Boater Safety Tips

Boat Ramps and Canoe and Kayak launch sites - JaxParks is currently responsible for 21 boat ramps and nine canoe/kayak launch sites.        

Metropolitan Park Marina - Located near Alltel Stadium on the north bank of the St. Johns River just west of channel markers G81 and R82, this marina has 78 boat slips that can accommodate boats up to 80 feet LOA and a few very large yachts.

Manatee Protection Plan - The purpose of this plan is to provide protection to manatees based upon a comprehensive understanding of manatee populations, habitat needs and interactions with humans. in addition, the plan acknowledges recreational and commercial uses of Jacksonville's waterways.
