About Us
The Mayor's Special Events for Senior Citizens and Special Programs for Older Adults enable Jacksonville's senior citizens to enjoy cultural, educational and recreational events and to be recognized as valued members of the community. Individuals 60 and over are encouraged to participate.
Safety and Security Seminar for Seniors

The safety seminar informs senior citizens about how to be safe and secure and plan for the future. Seniors actively participate and learn how to protect themselves from becoming a victim of fraud or a scam.
Senior Games

The games encourage and celebrate fitness after 50. Competition in various athletic events and other games is offered to encourage and promote a healthy lifestyle for those 50 years of age or older. Held annually in the fall.
