Cuba Hunter Park
3620 Bedford Road

Cuba Hunter Park SkateboarderHey Dude!  Check it out!  Cuba Hunter Park's 10,000 sq. ft. skateboard facility has great features including a six-foot half pipe, a seven-foot quarter pipe, jump boxes, multiple rails, and a bank ramp with a partial pyramid.

Whether you want to "street skate" using the rails and boxes or "vert" skate on the half and quarter pipes, this skateboard park has it all.  Smooth cement and sturdy steel construction rank this site with other top city-owned skateboard parks across the country.  Skaters are required to wear protective equipment and obey posted safety rules. Cuba Hunter Park Skateboarder

Cuba Hunter Park also includes two playscapes, a multi-use athletic field, a one-quarter mile boardwalk winding through more than 3 ½ acres of wetlands, and a covered pavilion with three picnic tables and two grills.

Slated for construction in 2004 are a gymnasium with an elevated track and a community building.

Hours: The park is open 5 a.m. - 10 p.m.
