Blue Cypress Park

Blue Cypress Park is a multi-purpose park featuring a new fishing pier and boardwalk along the south bank of the St. Johns River.  Wooden fishing pier at Blue Cypress Park overlooking the St. Johns River.Small ponds and wooded areas are included in its 118 acres and afford an opportunity for sharp-eyed nature lovers to find flora and fauna of the smaller varieties.

The park once contained a golf course and a new nine-hole course is currently under construction using many of the old fairways.  A small pro-shop will also be part of the new golf course.

The park contains a community center and swimming pool and is home to the Department of Parks, Recreation and Entertainment's aquatics office.  Admission is free.
