GIS Mapping by Permit Number or Address

 

GIS Mapping by permit number or address is now available to all of our Internet customers. This technology gives everyone the ability to locate and map new construction and existing houses on your computer. Using the data from the Building Inspections Division database, our GIS team updates the information daily. Therefore you can print out a map to route your field personnel to a new construction jobsite that was just permitted. No more outdated map books! Use it to find cross streets for your permit application.

 

Please visit our GIS site at http://maps.coj.net/jaxgis/  and look for the link on the left for permits.

 

When the map is displayed you can choose the option on the top right of the screen to search by permit number or address.

 

After the location is found, you can ZOOM IN by clicking on the MapIt

link as shown below. This is only an example.
