The JEDC Commissioners meet every second Thursday of each month at
9 a.m. The public is welcome to attend.
Responsibilities
- Serves as the city's community redevelopment agency and industrial development authority.
- With a strategic plan for global competitiveness in place, the JEDC is positioning Jacksonville as a key player in the international marketplace, encouraging reverse investment, trade and tourism.
- Augments traditional economic development services by focusing on attracting products, businesses and events related to sports, motion picture and television development.
