Facts About Filming in Jacksonville

* The City of Jacksonville requires a permit when filming on public property. This permit can be obtained by calling the JEDC Film & Television office at (904) 630-1622.

* The City of Jacksonville requires a road closure permit for any production that interferes with the normal flow of traffic. This requirement includes intermittent closure, hold and release traffic and total road closure.

* Productions filming on city-owned property must carry a minimum of $1 million liability insurance and $100,000 workers compensation. Please contact the film office for special language and endorsement.

* All productions filming in residential neighborhoods are required to notify the neighborhood association and leaflet the neighborhood.

* Reserved meter parking is available. Call the film office at (904) 630-1622 for details.

* All permits, location and police requests must come through the film office.
