City Fees

TOP FIVE THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW:

  • On July 1, late payment penalties of one percent per unpaid fee were applied to all outstanding balances.
  • We still have a large number of applications to input to our system.  Any late penalties applied to an account will be removed once an application is assigned to the account, provided that application was received before July 1.
  • You may call 630-CITY to find out if your application for an adjustment, credit or exemption has been applied to your account.  Due to volume, we cannot search for an individual application not shown in our billing system.  Click here to visit the Fee Application Frequently Asked Questions.
  • Customers seeking the 30 percent pond credit must have a facility (pond) permitted by the St. Johns River Water Management District (or, in certain cases, DEP). Click here for details.
  • Solid waste fees must be pre-paid for the billing service period.  Refunds will later be generated for qualified vacant properties.  Click here for more information.
