Citizen Planning Advisory Committee (CPAC) Chair/Asst. Chair

This is an unpaid volunteer position. The persons in these positions are responsible for coordinating the efforts of the Citizen Planning Advisory Committee (CPAC). They setup and attend monthly CPAC meetings to discuss issues in their planning districts, schedule speakers and programs for monthly meetings, and attend quarterly meetings with the mayor to advise the mayor of important issues in their planning district. The CPAC Chair and Assistant Chair are also responsible for coordinating special projects requested by the Mayor.

Qualifications:

* Must represent a neighborhood association or business.
*  Must apply for appointment and be approved by the Mayor.
* Ability to read and write.
* Good communication skills.
* Dependable.

This is an on-going assignment. Volunteers are responsible for their own transportation.
