THE INDIVIDUAL AWARD
is given to a person who has sincerely contributed to the awareness of environmental preservation and improvement in Jacksonville, whether the effort is popular or not.

THE CORPORATION/BUSINESS AWARD
is presented to a commerce-driven organization that significantly exceeds official regulations for pollution prevention and control in a single project or continuing program.

THE ORGANIZATION AWARD
is given to a non-profit entity that has increased environmental awareness or enhanced the quality of life in the Jacksonville community.

THE STUDENT AWARD
provides an opportunity for Duval County middle and senior high school students to be recognized for outstanding environmental activism, either in the school or in the community.

Accomplishments in any category may be cumlative; they need not be completed in a single calendar year.
