Ray Holt joined the City Council in 2007.  Ray was raised in Jacksonville, in the community that he now serves.  Ray earned his Bachelor's Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Florida State University, and his Master's Degree in Public Administration from the University of South Florida.

Ray has been married to his lovely wife Nanette since 1997 and has the three most adorable children on the planet.  Ray is also the District Chairman of the Baden Powell District of the Boys Scouts and attends First Baptist Church of Jacksonville.
